Public Works

The Public Works Department is part of the Public Infrastructure Division and is responsible for the co-ordination and delivery of services for Public Works.

We offer the following services:

• Maintenance of roads, storm sewers, and sidewalks
• Capital Projects covering engineering and construction of new roads
• Short and long-term planning and financial control of Capital Assets
• Development approvals including subdivision, site planning, and Storm Water Management 

The Executive Director of Public Infrastructure works with Council, the CAO and the Executuve Directors of the other Divisions to ensure that Council's policies are implemented, accurate and timely advice is provided and corporate goals and objectives are met. The Executive Director of Public Infrastructure is also responsible to ensure the town infrastructure is maintained and functioning at maximum efficiency.
