The Accessibility Standards for Customer Service Policy
to all Town employees, members of Council, agent, volunteer, student on
placement, or otherwise, who deal with the public or other third
parties. This policy is followed in accordance with the Accessibility
Standards for Customer Service, AODA 2005 (Ontario Regulation 429/07).

We are pleased to offer a multi-format option for all municipal
documents. Please contact our Clerks department for any requests or for

As staff work to create accessible
electronic documents in compliance with the World Wide Web Consortium
Guidelines 2.0, level AA, citizens may find documents which have not
been converted yet. Please contact the Corporate Information department
staff who are happy to work with you to be sure you get the accessible
version of a document as quickly as possible.

We offer TTY service by request Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm. Contact customer service staff by email, phone or in person.
Additional Accessibility Services are offered in the in the local telephone book through a TTY Relay Service.
The Town of Huntsville Accessibility Plan is
in place to address accessibility concerns, make necessary changes and
point out accomplishments that the Corporation has achieved to date.
Service Animals often are required to assist a
person with a disability. These animals are permitted in Town of
Huntsville facilities if documentation from a regulated health
professional is provided. Staff may request to see this documentation
(in compliance with Section 80.47 of the Integrated Accessibility
Standard Regulation) which will confirm that the animal is required for
reasons related to a disability.
