Emergency Planning and Preparedness

The Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act (2006) requires every Ontario municipality and provincial ministry to implement an emergency management program. 

The Town of Huntsville strives to provide services for the safety and well-being of its residents and works to meet these mandates in a number of ways including:

• Emergency Plan By-law
• Public education and information programs -  Personal Emergency Planning
• Mock Emergency Exercises to allow staff and the public to be prepared
